All window blinds can restrict the amount of light coming through the glazing, but when a high level of control is required over light levels then often a blackout bind is specified.

Cassette blinds are a stylish and modern alternative to standard roller blinds. Perfect for recesses, cassette blinds feature an aluminium headbox that discreetly encloses and protects the fabric from dust and damage. You have the choice of a rounded or square profile headbox plus optional side channels that provide complete darkness.

Blackout cassette blinds are the ultimate in light exclusion. With pile seals, light-transfer baffles and consistent fabric tension, blackout cassette blinds keep the light out to provide 100% blackout.  Cassette blackout blinds are used in operating theatres, drama studios, school halls, home cinemas and many contract applications.

 

Blackout blinds can be operated in a variety of ways from manual operation using a side chain, cord or crank handle to motorised operation. For motorised blinds the motor is fully enclosed in the barrel of the blind
